Gradually add dye with a toothpick until the colors match. 4. Apply the boat paint to the damaged area, smooth it with the yellow scraper, and remove the tape. 5. Wait over 24 hours for the marine paint to cure. 6. Sand the repaired area with sandpaper until smooth.
